The idea hit me while I was preparing for a bikepacking trip from Seattle to Ellensburg and back. I sketched it out quick in Procreate Pocket.

Finally got around to purchasing Affinity Designer after the trial expired. I like it quite a bit, and it works fabulously with the Apple Pencil, iPad Pro and Astropad.

The bike rider icon came pretty quickly, as it is the standard bike lane logo used by the departments of transportation around here. Translating the bike lane symbol into a covered wagon symbol was way more difficult than I thought it would be, but I think it turned out pretty well in the final version.

I love the icon aesthetic of creating images that quickly convey ideas using simple lines or pixels.
