The night before the Blizzard of '78, me and my brother were playing cards. When I was in the middle of saying, "Go Fish" the radio came on with, "There is a traveler's advisory for all of Indiana and parts of Ohio." I'm glad my mom was not home because if she heard that, she would kill us (my two sisters, my brother and I). Today was my unlucky day: my mother works at a radio station.

The next day, "The Blizzard of '78" had started. Everyone yelled, "No school!" That was the last straw! I was sleeping!

"I'll kill them," I said. "Shut up!" I yelled. Later on that afternoon, I had to shovel the sidewalk. Boring! It was still snowing harder now.

The next day, I think, I heard the very loud words of, "No school!" from my brother and sisters. I yelled, "It's Saturday," sarcastically.
